How is My Information Handled?

Citavi employees can see your first and last name and your email address. They can also see your address and the name of your university or organization if you entered this information. Citavi employees can only see information you've provided. They cannot see how you use Citavi and what information you save in your Citavi project.

If you use a Facebook, Google, or Microsoft account to register, these services "know" that you have a Citavi account. You can check the app permissions for each service and restrict or remove them if necessary:
