Assigning Roles
When you create a new Citavi Cloud project, you are automatically assigned the "Owner" role. This role cannot be reassigned. You can invite other team members and assign them the roles of "Project Leader," "Author," or "Reader."

Please note
If you do not have a Citavi Web license, you cannot open the projects. A license for Citavi 6 or older does not automatically apply to the web version.
Important information about the role of Reader
Team members with the Reader role cannot add, change, or remove content. However, they can do the following:
- Create a copy of a project in order to edit it or share it in the cloud.
- Copy references to another project
- Download attached PDF files
- Create Word documents with the Citavi project and the Citavi Word Add-In
