Generating BibTeX Keys

1. Click the gear symbol .
2. Click General settings.
3. Click Citation.
4. Enable LaTeX support.
5. Click Close.
6. In your project, select a reference and click on the field name BibTeX Key. (If you don't see this field, first click Show all fields.)
7. Select the option Generate BibTeX keys for references that don't have one.
8. Click OK.

Please note:

This action will also cause the content of the Modified on field to be updated. Citavi will enter the date on which you generate the BibTeX keys.
