Chatting with other team members

Within a cloud project, it is possible to chat with other team members.

Common reasons for chatting include:

• Referring your team members to (a) particular source(s) you have identified
• Confirming that everyone has incorporated new publications into their research as previously arranged

The chat can be used as soon as more than one user is online:

1. Right-click the chat symbol.
2. Compose your message.
3. Press the Enter key to send.

Hint

Do you want to share the reference you're currently working on with someone? Type :ref and Citavi will copy the reference's short title to the chat.

The chat is always visible to all online users. The chat's contents are deleted when the project is closed. You can save the contents of the chat window beforehand by clicking the download icon.
