Defining the "Sort By" Name

Usually an author's last name is used for sorting when the bibliography is sorted alphabetically. However, if the last name includes a prefix, you can choose how it should be sorted. For example, you might want the author Al-Hasan to be sorted by Hasan or the author van Leuken to be sorted by Leuken:

1. Click Options .
2. Open the Persons, institutions list.
3. Double-click the name you want to designate a special "sort by" name for.
4. Enter the part of the name you want to sort by in the Sort by field.
5. Click OK.
