Don't Save Citations in Text Fields 

In Word on the Insert ribbon, in the Text group, you'll see options for inserting text boxes. Text boxes are objects that let you place text wherever you choose in an Office document. Citavi fields cannot be inserted in text boxes. Instead of using text boxes, use the solutions described in the chapter Don't Insert Citavi References in Frames.
