Adding Attachments

Citavi lets you link as many files as you want to a reference. PDF files are the most commonly linked files, but you can also upload files in other formats (.docx, .pptx, .rtf, etc.).

1. Click the Paperclip below the desired reference.
2. Click Upload file and select the file you wish to attach to the reference, or drag and drop the file into the upload box. You can also attach multiple files at once.

Important:

PDF files may not exceed 100 MB. (To save transfer time, Citavi stores compressed copies of your PDF files in your cloud project.) All other attachments have a maximum allowable size of 50 MB.
