Subscribing to a Search Alert Feed

Unlike a news feed, a search alert feed is generated dynamically after you perform a search in a database or catalog. The process is described below using the example of PubMed.

Preparations in PubMed

1. Perform your search in PubMed. Underneath the Search field click the RSS icon.
2. Click Create RSS.
3. Set the options as desired.
4. Click Create RSS.
5. An RSS address will be created. Click Copy.

Adding the RSS to Citavi

1. On the Citavi Web Welcome Screen, click Settings.
2. Click RSS Feeds.
3. Paste the copied address into the Subscribe to feed field.
4. Click Add.
