Importing from ProCite

Citavi can import databases from ProCite 5.

Importing a ProCite Database

1.In the Reference Editor, on the File menu, click Import.

2.Select Another reference management program and click Next.

3.Click Add filter, select ProCite 5 and then click Add.

4.Select ProCite 5 and click Next.

5.Click Browse and select the file you want to import, then click Next.

6.In the Import window that appears, you can choose which references you want to import. To import all the references, click Add to project. To add specific references only, first select the corresponding checkboxes and then click Add to project.

7.Select any appropriate import options and click OK to complete the import.
