Deactivating the Add-In for Word

If you won't be working on a paper or publication for a long time, you can deactivate the Add-In for Word.

  1. Start Word.
  2. Click File > Options.
  3. Select Add-Ins.
  4. On the Manage drop-down menu, click COM Add-ins. Then click Go
  5. Clear the Citavi Word Add-In checkbox.

To use the Add-In for Word, repeat these steps only this time you should select the Citavi Word Add-In checkbox.
