Formatting a Bibliography
When you use the Word Add-In, the appearance of the bibliography is determined by two things:
- The citation style controls the spacing between entries and whether individual entries have a hanging indent.
- The paragraph styles in Word define font type, size, and alignment (i.e., whether your text starts on the left or if it should be justified).
To change the appearance of the bibliography, modify the following styles (see these Instructions from Microsoft for more information):
- Citavi Bibliography Entry is based on the Standard style. Edit the Standard style and/or the Citavi Bibliography Entry style to change the appearance of the bibliography entries.
- Citavi Bibliography Heading is based on the Heading 1 style. Edit the Heading 1 style and/or the Citavi Bibliography Heading style to change the appearance of the bibliography heading.
