Importing a BibTeX File

Citavi can import and export bibliographic information in BibTeX format. A typical BibTeX entry looks like this:

@book{Handke.2006,

 year = {2006},

 title = {The virtual linguistics campus: Strategies and concepts for successful e-learning},

 publisher = {Waxmann},

Importing a BibTeX File

• Many web-based databases support direct export to Citavi. See Searching Web Resources.
• If you have a BibTeX file (with the .bib file name extension) on your computer already, double-click it to start the import or drag it into the navigation pane in the Reference Editor.
