Planning tasks

Research involves a number of tasks: you need to double check your references, borrow books, make copies, and more. To keep track of it all and help you work more efficiently, Citavi offers the Task Planner.

Switch to the Tasks & Locations tab.

Click Task.

Choose the task you want to add. You can also define your own task, for example Class presentation.

You can choose from the most common tasks in the list.

If desired, enter a due date for when the task should be completed or change the importance level for the task.

Record additional information for your task if necessary.

Move the slider to set the task status: Started, Advanced, or Completed.

Hint:

If you don't want to set a due date or task status, click Routine tasks.
