Determining a Reference's Source

If you add a reference to Citavi through an online search or by importing it, Citavi saves the source information for the reference and the date on which the reference was added to the project.

The reference's source can be found in the Source field. You can see the initials of the user who added the reference and the date the reference was added in the Created by field. As a default, both fields are normally hidden. On the Reference tab, click More fields to select the fields for display. On the Overview tab, click Customize overview to select the fields for display.

Use the table view, to quickly get an overview of when you added which references and from where by taking a look at the Source and Created columns.
