Installing on a Terminal Server
To install Citavi on a terminal server, please note the following:
- The terminal server must have .NET Framework 4.5.1 (or later) installed.
- Citavi requires between 100 and 200 MB RAM per session. If many users are working with Citavi at the same time, you may need to ensure that enough memory is available.
It is possible to run Citavi in a Citrix environment. Please note that the Citavi Pickers (the Citavi browser add-ons) will only work if the browser is also installed on the application server. The same applies to Citavi’s Word Add-In. Word must also be installed on the same server that Citavi was installed on.
For licensing on Citrix, you'll need the edition Citavi for DBServer and the corresponding required infrastructure. For Citavi for DBServer you'll need a Microsoft SQL database server.
