Using Settings Files
Settings files allow Citavi settings to be distributed to others within the organization.
The settings file from the provider's perspective: By creating settings files, librarians or technology specialists can give students, faculty, and staff access to the collection of bibliographic databases and catalogs the organization subscribes to.
The settings file from the user's perspective: Many libraries offer a much wider amount of information than users are even aware of. If your organization has created a settings file for you, you should import it. The settings file usually will allow you to access many of the online resources your organization offers. The settings you had before will not be overwritten.
