Saving a Copy with Citavi Placeholders

You used the Add-In for Word to create a publication. You now want to continue working on the document with another word processor, such as OpenOffice or LibreOffice. To do so, you need to use the Citavi Publication Assistant.

1. Open the document containing Citavi fields.
2. On the Citavi ribbon click Convert > Save a copy with Citavi placeholders.
3. Citavi creates a copy of the Word file. Save the Word file under a new name.

This feature is not available in the USA.
