Saving Export Presets

If you export files often, you can save an export preset to save steps. The preset allows you to export files with a single click.

Saving an Export Preset

1. In the Reference Editor on the File menu, click Export.
2. Choose which references to export, then click Next.
3. Select the desired format, then click Next.
4. Choose whether you want to copy the data to the Clipboard or if you want to save it as a text file. If you choose Save to text file, click Browse, enter a name and location for the file, and click Save.
5. Enter a name in the text field. Click Next. Citavi displays a message once the export has been successfully completed.

Using an Export Preset

1. In the Reference Editor, on the File menu, point to Export and click the export preset.
2. Citavi displays a message once the export has been successfully completed.

Deleting an Export Preset

1. In the Reference Editor on the File menu, click Export.
2. Click Manage export presets.
3. Select the export preset you want to delete and click Delete.
