Installing Licenses

After completing your purchase, you will receive a license file by email. This file contains information about the number and type of licenses (per-seat or concurrent licenses).

Please note that only the database owner can install licenses.

1. Start Citavi DBServer Manager if you haven't done so already: double-click the Citavi DBServer Manager.exe file in the folder \Citavi 5\bin\.
2. If you are starting Citavi DBServer Manager for the first time: In Citavi DBServer Manager click Next until you reach the License tab.
1. Click Add to upload the license file.
2. Click Next to continue to the User tab.
3. If you've already completed setup with the Citavi DBServer Manager: click Manage licenses.
1. Click Add to upload the license file.
2. Click Close.

If you purchased multiple licenses, upload the other new license files to the server as well. Citavi DBServer Manager will add all the license information.
