Calculating the Page Count

You want to determine the number of pages in a journal article, essay, or contribution.

1. On the Tools menu, click Manage add-ons.
2. Select the Calculate Page Count add-on. Then, click Install and restart Citavi.
3. For journal articles and contributions in edited books or conference proceedings, enter the first and last page of the reference in the Page range field. This add-on calculates the total number of pages and enters it in the Page count field. If you don't see this field on the Reference tab, click More fields and then select the checkbox next to the "Page count" field.

Hint

After installing the add-on it will automatically add the page count to new references you add to your project.
