Generating a BibTeX File

1. On the Tools menu, click Options. On the Citation tab, make sure that LaTeX support is enabled.
2. In the Reference Editor on the File menu, point to Export > Export.
3. Select All n references in this project. Click Next.
4. Select BibTeX as the format or click or click Add export filter to select a different TeX format. Click Next.
5. Click Browse to select the location where the exported BibTeX file should be saved.
6. If you want, select additional BibTeX export options.
7. Optional: click Browse to select your TeX file. Citavi will then only export the references actually cited in that document.
8. Click Next and set whether you want to save the settings you just used as an export preset. Click Next to save the file.
