Setting Edit States

If you're creating a complex citation style you'll often have to switch between reference types. You can set the edit state to keep track of where you are for a particular reference type.

On the Edit state menu, select the status for a reference type. You can also click the circles in front of each reference type.

Hint:

If you are editing a copy of a Citavi style, on the Edit menu, click Set edit state of all reference types to > Undefined.
