Deleting a Link

To delete a link, click it and then click the delete symbol ().

Deleting files in local projects

If you delete a link to an attached local file or if you delete an entire reference, the linked file is moved to the RecycleBin in the Citavi Attachments folder. You can then retrieve files from this folder later on if you need them after all.

Deleting files in cloud projects

If you delete a link to a file saved in the cloud or if you delete the file's reference, the file will be deleted immediately. If you deleted the file by accident, you will need to find it again and then attach it to the reference again.

Deleting files in DBServer projects

If you delete a link to a file saved in a DBServer project or if you delete the file's reference, the file will be deleted immediately. If you deleted the file by accident, you will need to find it again and then attach it to the reference again.
