Error C416: Upload of a local project to the cloud failed

You were trying to save your local project in the Citavi Cloud. The upload failed with the error message 416.

Cause

Your project contains a very large category system (for example, over 1000 categories).

Solutions

• Reduce the number of categories. For example, you could split a project into multiple projects.
• Alternatively, add a value to the Windows Registry that forces Citavi to upload your project to the Cloud in smaller packets. See our guide.
