Changing the Sort Order for a List of References

Depending how you create your bibliography, you can influence how it is sorted.

• If you create a publication using Citavi, it will include a list of all works cited in your paper. The citation style determines the sorting within the bibliography.
• If you use the Save project bibliography or Print project bibliography features, you can manually determine the sort order. You can even apply different sort orders to different projects. The settings are retained when you close Citavi.

On the navigation pane, right-click a reference and click Sort . Select one of the listed sort orders or click Custom and create your own.
