Copying a License Key

If you want to save changes to Citavi projects containing more than 100 references, you will need a license for Citavi. You can either purchase a license in the Citavi Shop or get your license through a university site license. The license key will then be available in your Citavi account and you'll just need to enter it in Citavi:

1.Log in to your Citavi account.

2.Click License.

3.Click copy license data to the Clipboard.

4.Start Citavi.

5.On the Welcome Screen click License.

6.Click Enter a license key. Accept the license agreement. On the next screen click OK. Citavi displays a confirmation message.
