Exporting to another Citavi project

You may wish to move references from one Citavi project to another (in order to differentiate your research interests or to provide colleagues with a collection of relevant literature, for example).

Exporting references to another Citavi project

  1. If necessary, use labels or a search to create a selection of references to export.
  2. ClickMore more_o_black.
  3. Click Export.
  4. Click Copy or move to a Citavi project.
  5. Select your desired options:
    1. All references selected / All references in the current selection / All references
    2. Copy or move references (if you move references they will be deleted from the original project)
    3. Select the Target Project you wish to copy or move the references to.
  6. Under Options, select the content you wish to include when you copy or move the references:
    1. With attachments
    2. With quotations
    3. With ratings
    4. With categories
    5. With keywords, With groups
  7. ClickCopy or Move (the button's wording depends on the option you selected above).
