Changing the language

Citavi's user interface is available in the following languages: English, German, French, Italian, Polish, Portuguese, and Spanish.

The first time you start Citavi, the language settings corresponding to those of your operating system are used. For example, if you're working with a English-language version of Windows, Citavi will start with an English-language interface. To change the language:

1. On the Citavi 6 Welcome Screen, click Settings > Change language.
2. Select the language you want to use. After that Citavi will always start in the last language selected.

Please note:

If you need your bibliography to appear in another language, you need to change the citation style.
