Exporting References

Citavi offers you various ways of exporting data from a Citavi project. Exporting means data is copied from one Citavi project to another or to another application. The source Citavi project you export from remains unchanged.

When exporting to another Citavi project, you can choose to move files. The data is then copied into the target project and deleted from the source project.

One reason you might want to export references is to share recommended sources with a student or colleague. You would select the references in your project and then decide if additional information should be exported along with the bibliographic information.

You can export a single reference, multiple references, or all the references in a project.
