Accepting a Project Invitation

You received an email that you were invited to work on a Citavi project.

If you were assigned the "Author" or "Project leader" role, you can make changes to the project. You cannot make changes to a project if you were assigned the "Reader" role.

You're working with a previous Citavi version

1. Create a Citavi Account if you haven't already.
2. Switch from the previous version to the new Citavi version.
3. Click the Open project button.
4. The project will appear on the Citavi Welcome Screen. Open the project.

You're already working with Citavi 6

1. Click the Open project button.
2. The project you were invited to join will appear on the Welcome Screen.
3. Open the project either with read-only permissions (Reader) or with permissions for editing contents (Author, Project leader).

You've never worked with Citavi before

1. Click the Open project button. You will be redirected to a form where you can create a Citavi account.
2. Install Citavi.
3. Log in to Citavi with your email address and password.
4. The project will appear on the Citavi Welcome Screen. Open the project.
