Importing with Pickers

Citavi Pickers help you add online information to your project.

• Adding a Webpage with the Citavi Picker
• Adding a PDF File with the Picker
• Adding newspaper webpages with the Picker
• Adding Books by ISBN with the Picker

By default the Picker will save your information in the Citavi project that is currently open. It makes no difference if you are working with a local project or cloud project.

From August 2019 on, as shown in the screenshots in the subchapters, the redesigned Picker will also be able to send information to a closed Cloud project as long as you are logged in to your Citavi Account. This makes it possible for you to save information more spontaneously.

Logging in to Citavi Account

1. Click the Picker symbol in the menu bar of your browser.
2. Click the person icon.
3. Enter your login information.
